SWALsoft™ Acoustic batting is a wide-width batting made of fire-retardant polyester fibers, designed for sound and thermal insulation of walls and ceilings. Thanks to its controlled density, it provides optimal absorption of mid and high frequencies, while remaining thin (10 mm thick) so as not to reduce usable space.
Environmentally friendly and high-performance, it is a thinner and more environmentally friendly alternative to glass wool or rock wool. This batting is free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and is best used with a sound- and air-permeable covering for optimal effectiveness.
Installation tips: Lay the batting widthwise for quick and easy installation. Can be glued or stapled as needed.
Ordering tips: Sold by the yard. Indicate the number of linear yards desired (e.g., 5.20 yd).
